Isak Log is a privacy-first baby tracking app. Your data stays on your device. We believe parents should have complete control over their family's data without worrying about it being stored on remote servers or shared with third parties.

Information We Collect

Data You Provide

• Baby profile information (name, birthdate)
• Activity logs (feeding times, diaper changes, sleep sessions)
• Voice notes (audio recordings for activity notes)
• Optional Gemini API key for voice transcription

How Data is Stored

• Local Only: All data is stored via AsyncStorage directly on your device
• No Cloud Sync: Your data is never transmitted to our servers
• No Account Required: No email, no login, no user accounts needed

Voice Transcription (Optional Feature)

If you choose to use voice notes with automatic transcription:

• Audio is sent to Google's Gemini API for transcription
• You provide your own API key (stored locally on your device)
• We have no access to your audio recordings or transcripts
• Google's privacy policy applies to this service: policies.google.com/privacy

Third-Party Services

Website Only

• Vercel Analytics: Anonymous page view tracking on this website only

iOS App

• No analytics collected
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising or ad networks
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Data Retention

• Your data persists on your device until you delete it
• Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device
• No backups are made to external services
• We cannot recover your data if you delete it, as we never have access to it

Children's Privacy

This app is designed to help parents track information about their babies and young children. All such data is:

• Controlled entirely by the parent or guardian
• Stored only on the parent's device
• Never shared with any third party
• Never transmitted to our servers

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: View all your data directly in the app
• Delete: Clear all data via Settings or by uninstalling the app
• Portability: Data export feature planned for a future update
